When Will I Start Noticing My Weight Loss?

I started weight watchers a week ago. I was very disciplined for the first week and I lost 4 pounds! However, I don’t even notice I lost it. I don’t really feel it. So when will I start noticing the weight loss?

Congratulations. 4 pounds may not seem like much, but it is a step in the right direction.. Doing it in the right way is the best way to ensure that you will actually keep it off.
Healthy wieght loss is in thw 1-2 pounds a week range. It can be influenced by how much exercise you do and what your current weight is in realtion to you goal.
I will say I noticed my first 5 pounds, but I really noticed it at 10 and so did other people.

Losing weight is only half of it. You can be gaining muscle which weighs more than fat. If you are working out, you may not notice it because of this.
Also, lots of people will experience a quick fat loss and then see nothing for weeks. Sadly enough, sometimes what you have lost is water retention and a wash out of a low functioning intestinal system (especially if you are eating more fiber now).
I recommend: Try switching up your exercises. If you always do the same kinds of exercise, your bound to plateau. If your not including exercise with your new change in eating habits, try too! Its not just about dieting (which I hate to use this word I prefer better eating habits), its also about changing your life style.
    Hope this helps!

If you can lose 1-2 pounds of fat per week you are doing great. IF you are really overweight to begin with you may notice quicker weight loss than someone who is already in pretty good shape as your body will be more eager to “shed” those extra pounds.
You will notice a difference in your weight, gradually. But actually, it will be the other people in your life, especially your family, that will notice AND comment on your changes more so than yourself.
Keep up the good work and be patient. Remember, things take time!
    Hope this helps. :)
