I want to take my picture on the 1st of every month, and document my measurements, but I don’t know what else to add to it. This is my first scrapbook. Any ideas for a great, inspirational weight loss scrapbook?

Lots of starter kits out there, especially at Michael’s and Joann’s craft stores. As for inspirational things to put inside:
Quotes about Perseverance, pictures of clothes you want to fit into. Pictures of yourself laughing while you are exercising. Have some friends write some “cheering” comments during your journey. Physical things you want to accomplish like walking up several flights of stairs without stopping or a certain amount of miles walked in a specific amount of time tracked throughout your scrapbook. Do you have your eye on a marathon? Breast Cancer Walk-a-thon?
Pictures of you in clothes that don’t fit anymore as you lose your weight and what you did with the clothes like donating them to a local women’s charity/shelter.
You can make it as simple or embellished as you like.
I think you’re off to a great start planning to take a picture each month and your measurements. I would also keep a separate journal (or even paper you can just write on and keep in the scrapbook temporarily) and write down your challenges, new things you’ve found. If you incorporate exercise, I believe Jolee’s makes some stickers in relation to exercise and sports activities.
Best of Luck to you!!!
Also you may find that you are trying new things..that you had never done at your heaviest (maybe rock climbing etc), take pictures of those activities too.
get a scrapbook kit. get your pix and then start glueing. i have made about 12 scrapbooks.it is a good hobby
A pic of your scale.
Inspirational words from friends, that keep you motivated.
A photo of a great-for-you plate of food, maybe a salad.
Have a photo of a big cheeseburger and fries, with a red line through it.
Definitely you will need before, during, and after photos. You can include pounds lost to date for each time. You can make up some type of scale, and keep track of your weight on that. You may be able to find weight loss stickers. You could definitely find stickers that can say stuff like way to go, keep on working, good job, stay on track, and stuff like that as encouragement to keep on going. They would be great motivation. You could even journal what you have cut out of your diet, or list the healthy things that you have added to your diet. Best of luck to you!
Here is a book I have started for my weight loss.. just another idea for you! The link is to my sb.com gallery and there are two pics of the “Weight Loss Journal” I have started.

Coming from a person who has just lost 101 pounds, one thing that is really fun to do is to get into the old clothes I used to wear and see how much too big they are. Choose one outfit and photograph yourself in it each month. Also, choose a new outfit that you want to eventually fit into…a “goal” outfit, and have it ready for picture taking when you get there.
I too am working on my weight loss scrapbook concept. I have started with a before and after page. The page is missing only the after picture. The next page is a handwritten note to myself (almost a prayer if you will) asking for strength to carry me through this process. Across from that page I have pictures of me doing things i loved to do at weights I was proud to be at and at the bottom a notation of ‘someday soon’. Then as I loose the weight, it’s not just a picture of me a little smaller each time, it’s about all the other things I am gaining “self respect – pride – strength – the ability to do more and be there for my family” I have included encouraging statements and cut out neat little things or quotes I have found in magazines and even on the biggest loser website. I made a page that says “yeah, I’m a loser, and proud of it!”. I hope this helps you. In Christian Love, Moni
I would include pics of stuff that is contributing to you losing the weight…like certain foods, or pics of you excercising, or whatever it is that is helping you loose the weight…
maybe a page os what inspired you to lose weight.
Just include ANYTHING that deasl with the weight lose…pics of you holding up old clothes, pics of you in new clothes, people who have encouraged you along the way…
